Description
GFP Expressing Human Internal Mammary Artery Endothelial Cells (HIMAEC-GFP) are primary human endothelial cells isolated from the internal mammary artery and genetically modified to stably express Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP). These cells retain the morphological, phenotypic, and functional characteristics of vascular endothelial cells while providing continuous fluorescent visualization for live-cell imaging, angiogenesis studies, and vascular biology research.
HIMAEC-GFP cells exhibit the classic cobblestone morphology of endothelial cells and express endothelial-specific markers, making them an excellent model for studying arterial endothelial function, vascular remodeling, inflammation, and cardiovascular disease mechanisms.
