Product Overview
Description
Human Prostate Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HPrMEC) are isolated from healthy human prostate tissue. They are initiated by the elutriation of dispase-dissociated normal prostate tissue. Human Prostate Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HPrMECs) are far more than passive structural components of prostate blood vessels.
They are active biological participants in prostate growth and cancer progression. Through the secretion of cytokines like IL-6, growth factors like VEGF, and chemokines like CCL5, they communicate with neighboring prostate cells to regulate tissue homeostasis and, in disease states, to actively drive tumor invasion and metastasis. Their unique tissue-specific properties make them indispensable tools in prostate cancer research and the development of new therapeutic strategies.
Guarantee expansion for a minimum of 2-5 population doublings.
IMPORTANT: Quality warranty requires use of NeoBioPharma media. Biohazardous material despite negative pathogen testing. Quality claims must be reported within 1 month.
