Description

TMPRSS2-GFP expressing human alveolar epithelial cells are specialized lung epithelial cells that have been genetically engineered to produce TMPRSS2, an enzyme that plays a critical role in the entry of certain viruses into host cells. In addition to TMPRSS2, these cells express a green fluorescent protein (GFP) reporter, allowing for easy visualization under fluorescence microscopy.
