Product Overview

Description

CIHM-MED3 is a sterile, complete Adipogenic Induction Medium specifically formulated to direct Conditionally Immortalized Human Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (CIHM001) toward the adipocyte lineage. This medium contains the classic adipogenic cocktail and is intended for use after doxycycline withdrawal to silence SV40 Large T antigen expression, allowing terminal differentiation.

CIHM-MED3 promotes intracellular lipid droplet accumulation, upregulation of adipogenic transcription factors (PPAR, C/EBP), and expression of adipocyte-specific markers such as FABP4 and adiponectin.

Note: This medium does not contain doxycycline or puromycin.

Optional component (not included): Biotin (33 µM) and pantothenate (17 µM) – recommend adding if higher lipid accumulation is desired.

IMPORTANT: This warranty is valid for one month from the original purchase date.
