Product Overview
Description
Primary Human Retinal Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HRMECs) are initiated by elutriation of dispase-dissociated normal human retinal tissue. These cells are critical components of the retinal microvascular system, which helps maintain proper metabolism and nutrient delivery while regulating retinal homeostasis.
Guarantee expansion for a minimum of 2-5 population doublings.
IMPORTANT: Quality warranty requires use of NeoBioPharma media. Biohazardous material despite negative pathogen testing. Quality claims must be reported within 1 month.

CELL MARKERS
HRMECs display a typical cobblestone appearance with large dark nuclei under light microscopy.
They demonstrate typical endothelial cell features, including a flattened shape and the production of endothelial markers such as CD31 (PECAM-1) and VE-cadherin. These cells also contain tight junction proteins, including ZO-1, occludin, and claudin, which support barrier integrity.
