Product Overview
Description
Primary Human Brain Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HBMEC) immortalized via lentiviral transduction with SV40 Large T antigen and hTERT. These cells retain key phenotypic and functional characteristics of the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) including high transendothelial electrical resistance (TEER) and expression of efflux transporters. Ideal for neuroinflammation studies, drug transport assays, and stroke research.
