Human iPSC with MAP2 Differentiation Reporter (GFP)
Quick Actions
Product Overview
Description
This product is a validated human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line engineered to express Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) under the control of the microtubule-associated protein 2 (MAP2) promoter.
MAP2 is a neuron-specific cytoskeletal protein enriched in dendrites, making this reporter line ideal for live monitoring of neuronal differentiation.
Upon differentiation toward neuronal lineages, GFP expression is activated, enabling real-time visualization, quantification, and sorting of immature and mature neurons.
Parental line source: Human dermal fibroblast-derived iPSC (confirmed karyotypically normal).
Reporter construct: MAP2 promoter eGFP (IRES-Puro optional, consult CoA).
Selection marker: None (GFP only; antibiotic selection not required).
